01.  Stay With Me

Whatever am I to do?
When you leave my world will fall
Please, love, won't you stay?
Or take me away from here
Let us forget all our fear
Can't you see I'm yours?

Give it time, give it time
You won't wait too long
Give it time

All the songs I could write for you
Begging you to stay with me
Words just take it out of me
(Never get the feeling right)
The timing's always wrong
But you're heaven to me
(Always wrong)
All I ask is for your return

Give it time, give it time
You won't wait too long
Give it time, give it time,
You won't wait too long
Give it time, give it time, give it time
Give it time

Please stay, I'll wait for you
Ooh, don't leave me now
Ooh, is this what you want?
Ooh, don't leave me now
Ooh, I'll be alone
Ooh, don't leave me now
Ooh, is this what you want?
Ooh, don't leave me

Don't leave me now...

02.  Weddings and Wakes

(instrumental)

03.  Heaven

doesn't it ever stop
what do they want with all of us
when will the noise end and the quiet start
how many hours have i been blankly staring at these empty walls

never gonna die
never gonna grow old
i'll always be right here
standing by your side
catching all of your tears
helping you to believe in something more

days into weeks fly by
memories pass me on the way
like lights along wet streets that i grew up on
nothing looks familiar to me anymore
but i keep driving

never gonna die
never gonna grow old
i'll always be right here
standing by your side
catching all of your tears
helping you to believe in something more

04.  No One Will Ever Love You (lyrics by Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields)

If you don't mind
Why don't you mind?
Where is your sense of indignation?
You are too kind, much too kind

Where is the madness that you promised me?
Where is the dream for which i paid dearly?

When things go wrong i sing along
It is the nature of the business
But you're not here to make my sad songs more sincere

No one will ever love you honestly
No one will ever love you for your honesty
No one will ever love you honestly
No one will ever love you for your honestly.

05.  Seven Eight

(instrumental)

06.  Crocodile

(instrumental)

07.  Base Harmonic

(instrumental)

08.  Super Me

he keeps to himself these days
doesn't have much to talk about
but he tells himself over and again
she'll be here soon
emotions are all the same
or maybe just love and loneliness
but that enlightenment doesn't help at all
it just makes it worse
since she's not around

that's when the sky cries for him
and the lightning strikes
he's mesmerized

oh super me,
you're all that i long to ...

tries not to think to much,
but everything makes him think of her
when reason escapes him
love takes its place
he's got a frame of mind
which captures the bigger picture
but that enlightenment doesn't help at all
it just makes it worse
since she's not around

that's when the sky cries for him
and the lightning strikes
he's mesmerized ...

if the end of the world
came crashing down on him
he'd welcome it with open arms
like an old friend

and oh super me,
you're all that i long to be
searching the skies and to my surprise
we always end up
in each others' arms
you help me to disarm
as i fall apart
you help me to start again
again ...

and that's when the sky cries for him
and the lightning strikes him down
with open arms
like an old friend

09.  Milo 7

she always trembles
at the blissfully depressed
desiring the desireless
she's always searching
for herself in someone else
lonely when she's all she needs

she'll cry a thousand paper tears
and throw down her kerosene of vacant fears
we're all the match wishing we were the flame
we represent each moment in every day

he always trembles
at the thought of getting old
running out of time and ideas
he's always waiting
for the moment to be right
impatient when it's always there

he'll take a thousand empty pills
and swallow the void that they'll never fill
he's got to break out
no matter what the cost
we represent all the ones who feel lost ...

cuz we're all the same worn, empty cup
we're never content, but we never give up
jumping off cliffs, opening our arms
and hoping to fly ...
running around the same old track,
never getting any closer,
but we never look back
we're just trying to leave behind
something beautiful before we've gone

10.  Go! (written by Daniel Ash, Glenn Campling, and Kevin Haskins)

Living it up:  it's a big kick, it's good for you.
Watch the big freeze slip, crack the jackpot, get out of control.
If you put yourself down, you'll never win: get out of that hole.
Keep your mind open, your head up, you'll never, ever get old.

Go!

You whole world could change if only you just broke through.
Cos the fears inside your head,
'cos you fears are doing nothing for you.
Keep your head up, your mind open,
you'll always, always come through.

'Cos living it up, it's a big deal, it's good for you.
Swap your dull grey thoughts for fierce demands you can stand up to.
Don't put yourself down, you'll never win, so let's all smash through.
Through the fear of being real, through the fear of really being you.

'Cos living it up, it's a big deal, it's good for you.
Living it up, it's a big kick, it's good for you.
